We wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who answered the call to aid us during our financial crunch this season as we faced quarantine mandates forcing cancellation of the 28th annual Maudslay Arts Center Summer Concert Series during this unforeseen pandemic.
After 27 seasons we just took it for granted that we would be enjoying music under the stars on Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoon picnics on the patio, listening to fine music, and consuming dinners and tasty snacks topped off with delicious ice cream and homemade cobbler. Something was definitely missing this summer, including weddings, anniversaries, memorial services and other special events.
No ticket sales and no rentals meant no income. Without your generosity we just didn’t know if we could hang on until spring, but thanks to you “Maudslay Lifesavers” we did.
