With our beautiful park grounds and historic barn, you get the best of both worlds.

For 30 years, the Maudslay Arts Center has provided a unique setting for special events.

Available for rental mid-May through October, the patio and concert barn lend just the right atmosphere for your wedding, family reunion, business conference, memorial services, or other significant event.

The MAC facility provides a unique setting for indoor events, outdoor events, or both. The center’s grounds are a favorite of wedding photographers, and the historic barn – with its high ceilings, large windows, and rustic charm – provides a blank slate just waiting for the artistic eye of a party planner.

Over the years, we have hosted hoe-downs, high school reunions, Caribbean dance parties, memorial services, and many other events that celebrate life, family, and the ties that bind us.

CAPACITY

The MAC facility is comprised of the indoor concert barn and the adjacent outdoor grass patio area. Your event may accommodate fewer or more people depending upon seating configuration, etc.

Indoors: Wedding receptions are based on 150 people or less. Larger groups of up to 300 are possible with the addition of a tent in our patio area.

Outdoor Patio area only: Approximate capacity 250 (with tables and chairs)

Outdoors Patio area + lawn above the stage: Maximum capacity 500

AMENITIES

The concert barn is a natural setting, consisting of a single, large open room with high beams and ample windows around its perimeter. There are no kitchen facilities on site. Cafe and bistro tables and chairs are available to accommodate approximately 250 guests. Additional service and entertainment items (tents, service tables, chafing dishes, decor, etc) must be provided by the client by licenses and bonded caterers/vendors, where specified.

FOOD & BEVERAGES

Beer and wine only and must be provided by licensed and bonded caterers/vendors.

AVAILABILITY

The facility is available for rental from approximately mid-May to mid-October, seven days a week. No evening functions are available on Saturday evenings or Sunday afternoons during the Summer Concert season.

We have worked with a number of reputable, professional caterers, florists, musicians, and rental companies and would be happy to provide you with contact information if you need it.
