Thank you “Maudslay Lifesavers.”

We wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who answered the call to aid us during our financial crunch this season as we faced quarantine mandates forcing cancellation of the 28th annual Maudslay Arts Center Summer Concert Series during this unforeseen pandemic.

After 27 seasons we just took it for granted that we would be enjoying music under the stars on Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoon picnics on the patio, listening to fine music, and consuming dinners and tasty snacks topped off with delicious ice cream and homemade cobbler. Something was definitely m

issing this summer, including weddings, anniversaries, memorial services and other special events.

No ticket sales and no rentals meant no income. Without your generosity we just didn’t know if we could hang on until spring, but thanks to you “Maudslay Lifesavers” we did.

We thank past supporters and those who have stepped us to help us this year including The Newburyport Bank, Natalea Graves Brown, Deidre Remick, Stephen Brown, Marge Anderson, George and Roberta MacDougal, Jean and John Lambert, John and Lindalu Burciaga, Linda Young, Nick and Cynthia Costello, Kathryn Senzamici, Rosemary Serino, Pat Carr, Renee and David Hamel, Matt Sherrill, Rod and Mary L’Italien.

Also, Mike and Kerrin Costello, Robert Harvey, Janet Juntunen, Bob and Mary LaPlante, Donald Schroeder, Elizabeth Sims, Susan Grillo, Kathryn Dawes, Sarah Tappan, Patricia Kane, Nick and Mary Costello, Katherine Lacharite, Eleanor Lyons, Paula Shifres, Elizabeth Sims, Susan Grillo, Marge and Skip Motes, Ken and Dorothy Duval, Tom and Barbara Dator, Cider Hill Farms, and Nancy Rowen SND.

We would also like to thank our volunteers, including Carol Feingold, Irene Johnson, Nancy Brogden, Edna Shirley, Rena Roseman, Sharyn Russell, Marge Anderson, Regina Branco, and Jean and John Lambert.

If you are able to support this effort, please visit to make a gift or order a gift certificate in any amount. All 2020 gift certificates will be honored when we can all gather together again at Maudslay Arts Center. Checks can be made out to: Maudslay Arts Center, Inc. (nonprofit 5013C) and mailed c/o Cynthia Costello, clerk, 182 Whitehall Rd., Amesbury, MA 01913

We wish you good health and lots of carol singing, and mostly just say ”thanks” for being treasured friends.
